Natalie Baugh was introduced to the magic of teaching from an early age and always knew it was her calling. She grew up in Lubbock, Texas where her parents still reside. Natalie received her degree in Early Childhood Education from OU in 2013, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree.
Prior to joining Keystone’s staff, Natalie spent her days in the second grade and kindergarten classrooms at Terra Verde Discovery School in Norman. She enjoyed exploring and learning from the world and children around her and strives to follow children’s natural curiosities, cultivating a classroom community full of risk takers. Natalie considers it a true joy to spend her days with young children and “letting children be little.” Her child-centered curriculum is inquiry-based and rich in meaningful, hands-on experiences. Natalie is passionate and committed to helping students become independent thinkers, to believe in themselves as unique individuals, and learn to honor and respect the differences that help shape the identities of our world. Natalie builds a strong classroom community in which taking risks and making mistakes is expected and valued.
Outside of the classroom, Natalie enjoys reading, yoga, spending time at the lake, and coffee! She loves living in her cute house with her boyfriend Jackson and two puppies, Phoebe and Toby.
