Missy, the Art teacher, is doing what she loves best: Art with kids! Missy has been teaching for more than 30 years in both public and private schools. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, and certificates in both. She has been at Keystone since the beginning and has taught several grades, but has been with Pre-K for the last 10 years. She has always integrated her love of all forms of art into her classes. Missy believes that all children can create big art and that the process is more important than the product. She understands that art is a very important part of expressing who they are and what they feel about the world around them. She provides a place where creativity and the love of Art can flourish.
Missy is married to Tony and they have two grown sons and Merida the cat! Missy loves spending time with family, traveling, drawing/painting, reading, and yoga.
