Liz Ramos

My name is Liz Ramos, and I was born and raised in Mexico City. I moved to Oklahoma during high school and have called it home ever since. I love teaching children a new language—Spanish—and helping my students explore the richness of Hispanic culture.

I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Communications and a minor in Spanish. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in radio and television for three years here in Oklahoma.

I’ve been teaching at Keystone for eight years now and continue to discover creative, fun ways to make learning Spanish engaging. I especially love using cooking and games as part of my teaching approach to help students build stronger language skills. Every day, I’m inspired by the energy, curiosity, and genuine personalities of the children I teach.
