Bethany Bone

Bethany comes to Keystone from three years as the co-lead teacher in the preschool classroom at First United Methodist Preschool. She has a BS from Lipscomb University and has completed 69 formal hours of training through the Center of Early Childhood development Oklahoma Professional Development Registry. Bethany is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and its Oklahoma Affiliate, Oklahoma Association for the Education of Young Children (OKAEYC). Both are professional membership organizations to promote high-quality early learning for young children and help providers with professional development and current research.

Bethany believes that being a teacher is a gift! She loves seeing and experiencing joy and learning from a child’s eyes and is always amazed at the way a child can see something in a way she never anticipated. She also enjoys sharing her love of music, process-focused art, and providing an enriching environment for growth and development. Bethany even makes her own classroom materials from scratch, such as crochet doughnuts and felt cinnamon rolls.

Bethany is excited to be joining the Keystone staff, and will also be bringing her two daughters with her, Penny (3rd grade) and Tilly (PreK).
